Sustainable fat loss for active people who don’t want to stop living, training or enjoying food.
You’ve probably heard the usual weight-loss advice: eat less, cut carbs, do more cardio, be “good” during the week, start again Monday.
It might work for a while. But if you’re active, there’s another problem — you don’t just want to weigh less. You want to feel good, keep training, hold onto your strength and muscle, have energy, and eat in a way you can actually live with.
That’s what Momentum Lean is designed for.
Fat loss without the all-or-nothing approach.
Momentum Lean uses evidence-based nutrition principles to help you reduce body fat while supporting the things that matter to you — your training, performance, recovery, lifestyle and relationship with food.
The goal isn’t simply to make the number on the scales smaller. It’s to help you get leaner without feeling like you’re constantly dieting.

01 — Understand
We’ll look at where you’re starting from: your current eating habits, training, lifestyle, goals, body composition, energy and recovery — and the barriers that have made previous attempts hard.
02 — Build your strategy
We’ll create a personalised nutrition approach around your life — energy intake, protein, carbs, fats, meal structure, food choices, training nutrition, hydration and recovery.
No generic meal plan downloaded from the internet. Your strategy is built around you.
03 — Keep training
One of the biggest mistakes active people make during fat loss is simply eating less and hoping for the best. We take a different approach: your nutrition needs to support your training while creating the conditions for sustainable fat loss.
The goal isn’t “lose weight at any cost.” It’s “lose body fat while keeping the good stuff.”
04 — Make it last
The final goal isn’t reaching a particular number on the scales. It’s knowing what to do when life gets messy — restaurants, birthdays, travel, busy work weeks, missed training, weekends, holidays. Real life.
Because that’s where most diets fall apart. We want your nutrition strategy to work there too.
Momentum Lean is designed for active people who want to lose body fat while maintaining muscle and strength, who exercise regularly, and who don’t want restrictive dieting. It’s for people who’ve tried diets before, struggled with consistency, and want personalised guidance that lets them keep enjoying food and keep their nutrition working with their training — not against it.
It’s not about becoming a different person. It’s about helping the person you already are get better results.

You don’t need to earn your food. You don’t need to fear carbohydrates. You don’t need to eliminate everything you enjoy. And you don’t need to be perfect.
You need a strategy. Then you need the skills and habits to execute it.
That’s Momentum.

You shouldn't have to feel like a machine, and you shouldn't end up with a difficult relationship with food along the way.
You deserve support that looks at the whole picture — training and life, body and mind — not just the numbers on a plate.
That means a dedicated health professional focused on helping you close the gap between where you are and where you want to be, without losing sight of your wellbeing.
A personalised nutrition plan that actually makes sense for your life — without the guesswork or overwhelm of trying to figure it out yourself.
Clarity on what, how much and when to eat and drink across your day
Support and accountability to help you follow through with confidence.
A structure that keeps you consistent, while still leaving room to enjoy life.

Nutrition for people who actually use their bodies.
I'm Chris Everingham — an Accredited Practising Dietitian, former international rugby player, and high-performance practitioner with 19 years across nutrition, fitness, performance and health.
I've seen nutrition from every angle: as the athlete, as the coach, and now as the dietitian. I know what it looks like when nutrition supports performance — and what happens when it doesn't.
My goal with Momentum is simple: take the best of sports nutrition and make it practical for real life. You don't need to be a professional athlete to benefit from how they eat. You just need a body worth looking after.

An APD, (also called an Accredited Practising Dietitian) is a health professional who is recognised as an expert in nutrition and dietetics through Australia’s national credentialing program. To become accredited they need to have completed at least a bachelor degree at an approved university (which is usually 4 years in duration at an Australian/NZ university or have passed a skills recognition process). Then they need to be registered with Dietitians Australia and comply with their Professional code of conduct, and yearly continuing professional development requirements.
Dietitian’s play an important role in providing personalised science based nutrition and dietary advice and applying them precisely to your situation and specific needs.
When consulting with a Dietitian you might undergo a nutritional needs assessment, nutrition diagnosis and nutritional education / counselling such as a specific meal plan and shopping advisory for your context and lifestyle. You’ll also have opportunities for monitoring and evaluation sessions to ensure you are on the right track.
